How do you shoot an action movie scene?

You will learn the basic rules of the action genre, observe stunts, a little dogfight with the stuntmen and blow up of some cars!

He will be waiting for you on 16 and 17 September 2017, Saturday and Sunday at Nu Boyana Film Studios.

Day 1 Schedule

Morning session

SCREENWRITING

  • introduction to screenwriting
  • unlike other kinds of writing
  • format so important
  • idea creation
  • story construction
  • action vs. other genres
  • the three-act structure
  • screenwriting general rules
  • creating the action scene

Afternoon session

LUNCH:
  • break up into teams of three or four writers
  • action scene creation and writing as a team using the location and scene limitations you are given
  • presentations of the scenes
  • storyboard creation

Evening session

Dinner
  • preparation for shooting
  • set operation, set calls (roll camera, speed, action, cut, etc.) and rules
  • what to expect, etc

Day 2 Schedule

All day

All day:
  • blowing up a vehicle
  • screen fighting
  • stunts
  • a lot of smoke and commotion
  • ACTION! ACTION! ACTION!
